Hello Nick,Ann,friends,
Does anybody know about that f**king frill on the back of the neck?
What I think is the best bird that I bred this year has one !
Over the last few years I have seen a number of good birds at my local fellows with this frill and they are a pity, in the past ocassionaly I also had one or two but never the best birds.
I've been trying to sort out the reason for years now, some say it's due to feather quality, athough it sounds an obvious explanation, I find it hard to admit. I've seen it on coronas but never on consorts.
Any experiences or solutions? or do I have to exhibit the thing in the frill section.  wink
Tks

Hi Neil

Sorry I could'nt reply earlier. I'm not good at photography especially bird pictures.
I took many pictures but these 2 are the nearest that show the mentioned example.
